Most importantly, submissions to publication journals should be accomplished one at a time.

Qualified reviewers are specialised in their role. They are advocates in confidentiality and protecting the work of the authors. Reviewers encourage development, guidance, motivation and self awareness with constructive criticism, Their efforts result in self-awareness of the author and diligence can be motivating.

In many cases, their volunteered time entails heavy workloads. Situations with journals publishing different versions of a study introduce the risk of inconsistencies in findings (Wager, 2009). Compliance with correct evidence based research is essential for improving and fulfilling goals in healthcare.

The process of possible resubmission is one of accepting the reproving from the wise.

What to do if your manuscript is rejected

If the article is not accepted, accept feedback and prepare your article for resubmission or submission in the next journal publishers on your list.

Responding with courage

Be prepared with the following possibilities:

1) Rejection without an invitation to re-submit.

2) Conditional acceptance with the requirement of making minor changes.

3) Outright acceptance, where changes are not required and suggestions are made for further diligence.

Action plan

Create an action plan for changes needed and adhere to the plan.

Categorise reviewers comments.

Check guidelines and format; font type, size, line spacing, heading order, word limit, line numbering, page numbers and margin size.

For example —

Identify where you have changed data charts, figures or images.

Give reasoning if you are unable to address a comment and change it.
