How do we communicate?
Customers have clear expectations for honest work.
Respectful good communication is imperative for the business and influences the achievement of negotiated goals. Providing thorough, consistent and timely services enables customer retention and a trusting relationship for feedback.
We can use a variety of safe online tools for communication — Gmail, Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom, FaceTime, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. It is our priority, someone is always available to assist customers by answering enquiries, clarifying details and giving updates. In some situations, we may be required to resolve a dispute or collect monies owed.
Communication is made via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail (as customer preference).

Our work is governed by the 'Australian Standards for Editing Practice'. as set by The Institute of Professional Editors Limited (IPEd). These core standards aspire to use a range of skills and knowledge in meeting good outcomes.
Medical Presentations aims to be clear about the services in editing the work of research students’ theses and dissertations. The Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd) and the Australian Council of Graduate Research Inc (ACGR) developed 'Guidelines for editing research theses’, to give legal scope and limitations for editing services.
Process for agreeing on variations
The processing of our services is clear and elegant. Employment of a process management design enables relationship building opportunities, negotiation of timelines, workload management, content analysis, interactive updates/discussions, services, optimisation and approval of the final version.
Choices are offered for the text to be:
a) marked up electronically and emailed in PDF format
b) handwritten edited with proofreading marks and emailed in PDF format
c) edited and errors identified in a summary (page, section, line)
d) combinations of the above.
Agreements are made with the student identifying the engagement of an editor process, checking and type of document delivery format before acceptance. Marked‐up versions of the work will be kept on file as encouraged by the Universities.
Scheduling receipt and handover of completed work.
When a document has benefited from the editorial services, the name of the editor and a brief description of the service, in regards to the Australian Standards for Editing Practice is identified. This information can be printed as part of the list of acknowledgements or other prefatory information.
How secure is my information and payment?

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance
Our payments for service and products are accepted using PayPal, vCita or direct bank deposit with Westpac Banking Corporation.
PayPal - meets the PCI standards of compliance using their solution called Payflow Link with 128-bit SSL encryption. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and JCB all meet the minimal requirements. Unfortunately, a fee of $5 applies.
vCita - Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant with 128-bit SSL encryption.
Stripe - all card numbers are encrypted on disk with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit SSL encryption.
You don"t need to have a PayPal or a Stripe account - you can pay with any credit or debit card.
No storing of customers’ credit and debit card information
Risk of payment fraud from storing of payment details is eliminated.
3D Secure (3DS)
The extensible Markup Language-based protocol is an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. It prevents fraud via credit card schemes like Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
Is the service confidential?
A secure management system will store your document. Secured files can only be accessed by the editor and/or business owner.
Record of work is kept for at least 30 days to satisfy University requirements. At the request of the customer, work can be deleted after 30 days.
Our email correspondence provides 256-bit Transport Layer Security (TSL) with 2048 Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA) certificate for encryption keys for the validation and key exchange phases. This is within the legal range of cryptography strength for international internet use.
FaceTime establishes a connection with AES 256-bit algorithm technology that is unable to be decrypted by Apple.
Zoom encrypts presentation content at the application layer using TLS 1.2 with AES 256-bit algorithm.
It is our protocol not to use social media for confidential communication when discussing work details, however, social media is utilised for answering brief enquires. Facebook and Twitter are reliable with E2EE security measures. LinkedIn enables an opt-in SSL encryption.
Personal data and information privacy
We collect information for the following purposes; services, customer support, promotional contact with our Visitors and Users, statistical data for service improvement to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Only personal information needed for the services is received, collected and stored.
Stored information includes; name, login, e-mail address, address, phone number, password and purchase history.
Credit card information from transactions is always automated and not stored by us.
